Our Story: From Damietta to the World
1990: Founded
Selim Charcoal began as a small plant in New Damietta, Egypt, producing lump charcoal from citrus and casuarina wood.
Growing into export
We expanded lump charcoal exports to Arab countries and Europe, building long-term relationships with importers and wholesalers in several markets.
Adding briquette lines
As global demand for shisha charcoal cubes grew, we added coconut shell briquette production lines.
Today: 6 production lines
We run 6 production lines and 4 warehouses with 200 tons of monthly capacity, exporting to Europe, the USA, Canada and the Middle East.
