Split acacia and olive firewood, supplied in bulk
We supply acacia and olive firewood that is split lengthwise rather than sold as round logs: every log is cleaved along the grain into even pieces, so it dries faster, lights more easily and packs far more efficiently. Wholesale supply for restaurants, bakeries and traders, prepared for export to your specification.

What does “split” firewood mean?
Splitting means cleaving each log lengthwise, along the wood grain, into wedge-shaped pieces instead of selling whole round logs. It is the standard practice of professional firewood suppliers because it changes how the wood actually performs in use.
A whole log keeps its moisture locked inside, because the bark seals it on every side. A split piece exposes the inner wood on several faces, so moisture escapes faster and air and flame reach it easily.
At Selim we split our acacia and olive firewood into consistent sizes, and the piece length and thickness can be agreed to suit your use: oven, fireplace, grill or restaurant.
Why split firewood outperforms whole logs
The difference shows from the first fire: faster ignition, less smoke, steadier heat, and even lower shipping and storage costs.
Dries faster
More exposed wood surface lets moisture evaporate much faster than from a bark-sealed round log.
Lights easily
Exposed edges and fibres catch flame quickly, with far less kindling needed.
Even burn, less smoke
Dry split wood burns in a balanced way, without the smoke caused by moisture trapped inside whole logs.
Uniform size for ovens and stoves
Similar-sized pieces go straight into the oven or firebox, with no further cutting on site.
Tighter stacking and packing
Split pieces stack with fewer gaps than round logs, so each bag or container holds more wood.
Easier heat control
Add thinner or thicker pieces to adjust the heat while cooking or heating.
