What Is Hexagonal Charcoal?
Hexagonal charcoal, also known on international markets as hexagon briquettes, is charcoal pressed into a six-sided prism. At the Selim factory we make it from citrus wood charcoal, and it burns for roughly 5 to 6 hours.
The hexagonal shape stacks and stores easily and lets air flow between pieces while burning. We supply it in large sizes from 10 cm up to 25 and 30 cm, which makes it a good fit for restaurants, grill houses and outdoor heating.

Hexagonal charcoal is pressed into a uniform shape, while natural lump charcoal such as orange wood charcoal and casuarina charcoal is carbonized wood in irregular pieces.

How long do hexagonal briquettes burn?

Yes, it is used for both grilling and heating, but only outdoors or in well-ventilated spaces. Never light it inside closed rooms, tents or vehicles, because of the risk of carbon monoxide.
